Today I want to share with you the really AWESOME books I read last month, I'm reading right now and the books I want to read next.
Last week I finished
Bludzee by Lewis Trondheim. I really looooved this book. It was hilarious. I fell in love with Bludzee, the cat, because he's funny and smart. I laughed a lot :)
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Wow, this book surprised me a lot. Since it was published in 1843, I though thta maybe now it wasn't as great as it was at the time, biut I'm glad to say that I was wrong. It was sometimes creepy, which I loved and the story makes you feel better and want you to change. So, it's perfect for Christmas.
This week I'm reading
Simply irresistible by Jill Shalvis. I loooooooooooove this book. It's about a woman who goes to Lucky Habour to take over her mother's inn. It's adorable, entertaining and very very funny. I highly recommend it.
A Christmas Carol is so wonderful, I'm glad you liked it! I'm sure you'll like Great Expectations too! Have a great week of reading :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, you too!!! :)
DeleteYes, I didn't think I liked it as much as I did.
Yea I read A Christmas Carol last year but I honestly am not a fan of scrooge even though I've seen many variations of the movie. It's the message that counts. In the words of Tiny Tim : "God Bless Us Everyone"
ReplyDeletehere is my take Jackie's Bookbytes
Yes, I felt really great when I finished it and I also love Tiny Tim.
DeleteHe's adorable :)
I love all the Christmas Carol movie adaptations but I couldn't finish this one last year, I should have tried again.
ReplyDeleteWell, if you want. For me it was entertaining and I hope you enjoy it if you decide to give it another go :)
