July TBR: How I did it

Hi everyone!!! :)

Well, today is the last day of the month so it's time to look what books wanted to read and what books managed to read in the end.

This idea is as always hosted by Misty from The book rat.

These were the books I wanted to read:

And these are the books I read

As always it was a pleasure to read another book by Neil Gaiman. They are always very strange and entertaining. I liked it.

I've read several series and it's always the same feeling: the first book is really good, but the rest I don't like as much as the first one. That doesn't happen with this series. I was very surprised to discover that the second book is as good as the first one. I really, really liked it.

This one was another surprise. It took a bit to get into the story, but once I did it I couldn't stop reading it. Great and quick read! I am now a big fan of Gene Luen Yang.

I thought this one it was going to be funnier than it was in the end, but don't get me wrong, it was funny and entertaining.

I think this book needs that you have a little time to think about it and it didn't always happen while I was reading it. Still, I enjoyed reading because it made you think about stuff, about our society and it's a bit scary that something was written 60 years ago it's happening now.

Wow! I really really enjoy reading this one because it talks about stuff I really like. I enjoy very much. Two thumbs up! :)

This month I couldn't resist to read another one book of The sisterhood of the travelling pants series and again I was very happy that the third book had the same tone as the other books I'd already read. I hope this don't change with the rest of the books of the series.

Well, this is me, but what about you?

It's Monday! What are *you* reading?

                              hosted: Book Journey

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today it's Monday, so it's time to share with you what I finished last week, what I'm reading and what I want to read next.

Last week I finished three books :O I think this never happens to me again. The books are

This book was AWESOME!!! I really really really really loved it. I highly recommend you because it was sweet, thoughtful, clever, very entertaining. I really love the books written by these two authors together. I can't wait to read Naomi and Ely's no kiss list.

This book I've already read. It was strange because I think I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the first time. I think it's better when you have time to read quietly and you have time to think about the ideas Bradbury put on it. The times I read quietly were very nice, but when I was in a hurry, I didn't enjoy it very much. Besides this, I think it's a bit scary that stuff he wrote in 1953k, they are now true.

I thought this book was going to be funnier than it was, but still it was funny and very entertaining. I highly recommend it.

 Now I'm reading

This book is AWESOME. I find it very surprising that I like the book because I am not a teenager any more. I think it's because Ann Brashares did a really really great job and the book also talks about topics such as death, birth, break ups, love. I don't know the only thing I know is that it is the third book in the series and I really love it and the other two books I've already read. I highly recommend you specially if you read the first book and you liked it.

Next in my pile

Since it's been a very hot summer, I have decided to read books which they are perfect for this time. So my next book is

I'm not totally sure if it is the book Confessions of a shopaholic which has two titles or what? I'm confused :S If you know, please tell me in the comment. Thank you!

Well, this is me, but what about you?

Sundays in bed with...

              hosted by: Midnight Book Girl

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today I'm spending this morning with this awesome book

I really love this book and the other two books I've already read. I highly recommend you. It's sweet, romantic and it talks about some difficult issues like death, divorce, etc. It's very entertaining and you get involved in the book almost instantly. Besides, it's a great book to read in the summer because it happens in summer, but it doesn't matter if you read in Autumn, Winter or Spring, you'll enjoy it.

Well. this is me, but what about you?

A late TGIF: Christmas in July

                                hosted by: GReads!

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today the question is

If Santa were to come down your chimney in the middle of summer, which books would you want him to leave for you under the tree?

And this is my list

Now I'm reading the 3rd book of the series and I love it too as the other two books I've already read, so it would be nice to have all of the series under the tree.

I've read the other two books David Levithan and Rachel Cohn and I looooooooooove them. Great books! And I'm sure I'm going to enjoy reading this one so, yes, please Santa leaves me this one too :)

Another book I'd really want to have is this one. The last book of the Paranormalcy series. I learned that it came out this week, so, please Santa, buy it for me.
Another book I'd like that Santa brought is Isla and the happily ever after written by Stephanie Perkins. I know that it hasn't come out yet, but I'm sure that Santa has his contacts ;)

I really love Neil Gaiman books. I have already started this one and it's really good, but since I can't read it on my e-book I want Santa brings it to me as a real book.

Recently I've learned what this book is about and I've loved the plot :) Quickly I looked for it in my library, but I haven't been able to find a copy, so please Santa brings me this book too :)
Well, these are my books, but what are yours?

It's Monday! What are *you* reading?

                    hosted by: Book Journey

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today it's Monday and these are the books I finished last week, the books I'm reading right now and the books I want to read next.

Last week I finished

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was very easy to read and very entertaining. I highly recommend to you :)

Now I'm reading
I like the book because its ideas are very revolutionary, but I don't love it. I think that this read makes you think about our actual society, but the action is a bit slow.

I'm really really enjoying reading this one. It's really amazing.

It's a story about two teenagers, but it's unconventional. I really love how David and Rachel write. I'm  definitely going to find more books written by them.

I expected that it was a bit funnier than it is although it's very entertaining. I like it because the author joins the fairy tales very well plus it's a quick read :)

Next
Well, I'm not totally sure if I'm going to read this one next. It will depend how I feel that day, but I think it could be also a great summer read :)

Well, this is me, but what about you?

Sundays in bed with...

                      hosted by: Midnight Book Girl

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today I want to share with you the book I'm spending the morning.

I've read just a bit and I really like it. I think Gene Luen Yang is very good telling the story and I find it very interesting. The drawings are very good, they are like the one in the cover. I think it's a great work and I recommend it :)

Well, this is me, but what about you? What book are you spending the Sunday morning?

I'm reading this one for two reasons. The first one is because Ray Bradbury died a month ago and I thought reading one of his books was a good way to pay tribute and second, because John Green and his brother Hank have organised a book club, choosing this one as the book to read.

I like the idea of the book, but it's difficult for me to read because the action is a bit slow. On the other hand, it makes me think about my life, about the life we are living right and the similarities between the book, which is supposed to happen in the future, and what we do every day. If you like science fiction and books, I recommend to you.

Well, this is me, but what about you?

TGIF: Throwback TGIF

                       hosted by: GReads!

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today it's Friday, yeeeees, at last :) and the question for today is:

Pick a previous question you posted on your blog in the past & revisit your answer. Has it changed since then?

And this is my previous post:

                                             Hosted by: GReads!

The question today is: Recommend It: Which book from the last 10 you've read would you recommend to a friend?
Anna and the French kiss by Stephanie Perkins.I definitely recommend this one. It was love at first sight. It was so good that I didn't realize I was turning pages. Just I loved it.

Well, this is me, but what about you? :)

And this is how it has changed

Well, I obviously recommend this book because it's entertaining and funny and everything so, yeah, I still recommend it, but if I had to choose between my last ten books I'd read lately, I'd choose this book

I really really loved it. It was amazing. I wanted to finish it and at the same time I didn't want to. I liked it because Rachel and David know how to combine their ideas soooooo great. If you like love stories, I recommend you, if not, don't read it ;)

Well, this is me, but what about you?

It's Monday! What are you reading?

                           hosted by: Book Journey

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today I want to share with you what I finished last week, what I'm reading right now and I want to read next.

Last week I didn't finish anything :(

This week I'm reading

I've already read it a few years ago, but the author John Green and his brother Hank are doing a book club and they decided to choose this one to read because Ray Bradbury died recently and because 50 shades of Grey is selling more than Ray Bradbury sold in all his life. They thought it was a pity and they started the book club to make people to buy this book.

I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove this book, it's amazing, it's thoughtful, interesting, wow, AWESOME. I am very grateful that books like this exists because they makes me happy :)

Next in my pile

I've already started this book, but the vocabulary was a bit difficult to me, so I decided to start Dash & Lily's book of dares because it was a little less complicated to read, but as soon as finish Dash and Lily's book of dares, I'm going to read this one with my dictionary beside me :)

Well, this is me, but what about you? What are you reading?

                 hosted by: Rose City Reader

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today it's Friday and I want to share with you the first lines of the book I'm reading right now.

"Imagine this:

You're in your favorite bookstore, scanning shelves"

Cool, huh? I've just started and I like it very much. I hope it doesn't let me down. I've already read Nick and Norah's inifinite playlist and I looooooooooove it and I think this is going to happen with this one :)

Well, this is me, but what about you?

It's Monday! What are *you* reading?

                    hosted by: Book Journey

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today it's Monday and I want to share with you what I read last week, what I'm reading right now and what I want to read next.

Last week I finished

I really liked the book. It was very entertaining and surprising. All Neil Gaiman's books are great reads! :)

This one surprised me although I'd read the first book because I didn't expect I liked it so much. In many cases the second book is not as good as the first one, but in this case that didn't happen. I really really enjoyed reading. If you liked the first book , you should read this one.

Now I'm reading

As you know Ray Bradbury died last month and I wanted to pay some tribute. John Green (the writer) and his brother Hank Green have decided to start again their book club reading and discussing Fahrenheit 451.

Here is Hank's explanation about the reasons to do the book club and read this book

Here is John Green's video telling you that you have to read the first part of this one by Tuesday :)

I've just read a few pages and it's very funny. I hope all the book is in this way.

Next in my pile

I really really loved Norah and Nick's infinite playlist by the same authors like this one, so I hope that I love this one too :)

Well, this is me, but what about you? What are you reading today?
