Let's recap: Books i read in June

Hi everyone!! :)

This month I have decided not to make a video. They take me a lot of time and I haven't figure out how to edit them yet, so I thought to give me some time.

Anyway, here they are the books I read (for more detail about my thoughts about them scroll down)

El rayo que no cesaAir Ferrets AloftReady Player OneBed of Roses (Bride Quartet #2)Where the Wild Things AreSavor the Moment (Bride Quartet, #3)Happy Ever After

El rayo que no cesa (The ray which doesn't stop) by Miguel Hernandez. I liked the book, but I didn't love it. I expected more since I have a great experience reading the poems by Gloria Fuertes. In this case, I loved the love poems, but I couldn't understand what he meant in the rest of the poems. I felt that something was missinf or I hadn't the required information.

Air ferrets aloft by Richard Bach. I really loved this book. It's was lovely and entertaining. it was a pity the book didn't explain more about the love story and about another story, but that made me want to read the next book in the series :)

Ready Player one by Ernest Cline. OMG I haven't words to explain this book. It's true that I had to force to read it because I thought it deserved to be read and fortunately I was right! :D It was amazing. when I finished reading it I was speechless. It was great and if you like video games you're going to love it.

Bed of roses by Nora Roberts. I really loved this book. It was amazing. At first I thought the main character, Emma, was annoying and a daydreamer, but it was just at the beginning because after a chunk of pages, you see she has changed and although she believes in love, she doesn't believe in Prince Charming. I really really enjoyed with this book. i highly recommend it.

Where the wild things are by Maurice Sendak. The other day was the anniversary of Sendak's death, so I decided to look for this book in the library. It was a quick read because it's for children although it disappointed me a bit. I expected the story a bit longer and it explained a bit more.

Savour the moment by Nora Roberts. I really loved this book too, but I think I loved more Bed of roses. In this book I loved the two main characters. I think Del is really sweet and I really loved the idea of two people who are friends since forever falling in love.

Happy ever after by Nora Roberts. Maybe this book was the book which I liked the least and I think it's for two reason. First it was the only one I read in English and since the vocabulary I was lost sometimes and second because I don't like Malcolm much. I don't like the bad boy even though this one is a good man and how he treated Parker. But anyway I enjoyed this book very much and I totally recommend this series if you want to read something funny and light. Definitely a summer read!

Well, these are the books. Share with me yours! :)

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today I want to share with you the book I'm spending the day with.  It's this one

The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything

I know that I've already shared this book with you two weeks ago, but since I love this meme , I can't help myself and show you again  :) I like the book. Some stories are lovely and entertaining, other parts are a bit boring for me, but anyway it's an interesting read about how people have found what they love the most and they are making a living from that.

Well, this is my book, but what book are you spending the day? Let me know in the comments :)

                                         hosted by: Rose City Reader

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today I want to share with you the beginning of the book I'm currently reading

Major Crush
"ONE

I could keep my expressionless drum major face on while I strode under the bleachers and around the stadium to the bathroom. But I was going to bawl"

So far I like it, it's very funny and entertaining. I have heard nothing but good things about Jennifer Echols books and when I saw this one for 4 euros (5 dollars or 3.40 pounds) it had to be mine. Miiiiiiiiine hehe ;)

So, yes, this is what I am reading, let me know what you are reading and what are you thoughts about this book.

Byeeeee :)

It's Monday! What are you reading?

                                              hosted by : Book Journey

Hi everyone!!! :)

So, today I want to share with you the book I read last week, the book I'm currently reading and the book I want to read next.

Last week I finished.

Savour the moment by Nora Roberts. It's the third book in the Bride Quartet series and I looooved it. It was a adorable and entertaining read. I really liked Laurel and Del and together they were a lovely couple. It's a pity there aren't more books of this couple.

Now I'm reading

Happy ever after by Nora Roberts. it's the 4th book in the series Bride Quartet. I couldn't help myself since I've enjoyed with the othe rbook very much, to grab this one. This book is taking me more time to read it than I spent with the rest because I'm reading it in English and the vocabulary is a bit difficult for me sometimes. But anyway I really love this too :)

Next

I'm not sure what I'm going to read next since I have books that I've started, books which I have on my shelves since forever and books which I've bought recently which they seems to me really great reads, so that's why I'm showing you two.

Major Crush by Jennifer Echols. I have heard nothing but good things about books written by Jennifer Echols and this one seems a cute read. Since it's summer, I think this one is a good option.

Naomi and Ely's no kiss list by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. This one has been in my TBR piles several times and I haven't read yet. So, I'm going to try to read it soon.

Well, this is all for me, but what about you? What are you reading? :)

Book Beginnings with a series

                                         hosted by: Rose City Reader

Hi everyone!!! :)

So today I want to share with you the beginning of the book I'm currently reading. It's the fourth book in the series Bride Quartet. And here is its cover and the first lines:

Happy Ever After

 "Prologue

GRIEF CAME IN WAVES, HARD AND CHOPPY, BUFFETING AND breaking the heart"

Maybe if I had read this sentence, I would have never read the books. I think this sentence doesn't do justice to this book or the previous ones which are amazing, funny, enjoyable and very entertaining. I learned about this series a month ago (maybe less) and I've almost done with it. That shows you how much I've enjoyed with the series and how much I’m going to miss the characters. I really love how Nora Roberts writes and I think I'm going to try other books by her.

I highly recommend this series to you, if you like something funny, light and entertaining. The four books are great and I think they are perfect for the summer.

Well, this is my beginning, but what's yours? :)

Sundays in bed with...

  hosted by: Midnight Book Girl
Hi everyone!!! :)
Today I'm not at home. I'm travelling to see a show. I'm really excited about it :) I know that the trip in the train is going to be a short one, but I hope to read some pages of this book.

The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything

I didn't know anything about this book or this author until my English teacher shared with us this video. In it Ken Robinson talks about how children are taught not to be creative, but then when we start to work, many times is important to be creative. I really loved the talk and how he explains everything that I looked for one book by him. I haven't started it yet, but I'm sure it's going to be a fun and interesting read :)

Well, this is my book, but what's yours??? :)

Book Beginnings with two books :D

                                         hosted by: Rose City Reader

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today I want to share with you the book beginning of two books :) I started one, but since the book is a bit sad, I started another one.

So here they are
The Silver Linings Playbook
"An infinite amount of days until my inevitable reunion with Nikki.

I don't have to look up to know Mom is making another surprise visit."

The Hobbit (Middle-earth Universe)

" Chapter 1 AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY

In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit."

I really like The silver linings playbook by Matthew Quick, but it's sadder than I expected. I was watching TV and then, in a program started talking about this film. I felt in love with the plot immediately and I wanted to read it right away. i started it and I realised it was good, but at the same time sad. When I watched some pices of the film I didn't get the impression, although the topic is mental illness, that it'd be told in a sad way.

The hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien is a re-read. I started last month and I didn't want to keep reading, but yesterday I was totally in the mood for this book. I haven't read much, but I laughed several times.

Well, these are my beginnnings, what are yours?
