Hi everyone!!! :)
Happy New Year!!! :D Yes, it's been a while since I haven't posted anything :'( but today I said to me: what the heck! So here I'm to share with you the books I'm currently reading.
Last week I finished 2 books:
Asking for trouble by Elizabeth Young. I really loved this book. It was funny and enjoyable. I read it quite quickly because the story was engaging. The book has a film adaptation The Wedding Date which I also loved it :)
Chocolate Galore by Caroline Barty. This book is a book of recipes which I found quite interesting. In it you can find a great variety of chocolate recipes: cupcakes, cakes, biscuits. Mmm yummy :)
Now I'm reading
Don't Try This At Home: Culinary Catastrophes From The World's Greatest Cooks And Chefs by
Andrew Friedman,
Kimberly Witherspoon. It's a compilation of real stories of the most famous chefs. So far I have only read the one written by Jamie Oliver and I liked it. We'll see.
The secret life of Walter Mitty and other stories by James Thurber. I just learned that this film (see picture) is based on a story by James Thurber. I have read some stories by him and I didn't enjoy them as much as I expected. I hope to like the rest of the stories which contains this book.Fingers crossed :D
Next
I'm not sure what I'm going to read next, but it's probably I read
Julie and Julia : 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen
by
Julie Powell. I watched the film and I really liked it, so I'm curious about the book in which the film was based .
Well, this is all for me. Let me know what you think about the books. If you have read any of them, let me know what you thought about it.
I hope you have a great week!!! :D
