Hi everyone!!! :)
Today I want to share my September TBR
This TBR is the books I want to read the fist two week of September, then I'm going to travel to Canada. There i hope to borrow from the library other books, but we'll see. Let's talk about first of this pile, shall we? ;)
Getting even by Woody Allen. I have already started this book and I like it. It's a compilation of short stories about biographies, about philosophy, about Hitler. It's really funny. There is one that I was laughing all the time. Hilarious. I am more or less in the middle of the book and I started yesterday, so hopefully I will be finishing before I go.
La tesis de Nancy (Nancy's thesis) by Ramon J. Sender. It's about an American woman or girl, not sure. She comes to Spain and writes letters to a friend telling her what she sees and talks. It's supposed to be funny. We'll see.
La felicidad es un té contigo (The hapiness is a tea with you) by Mamén Sánchez. This book is suppossed to be funny (I think, not sure). It's about 5 women that, in order to keep their jobs, they are able to do anything.
The Imaginary Invalid (Le Malade Imaginaire) by
Molière/ The Miser (L'Avare)by
Molière. I have both of them in the same book. I want to read The imaginary invalid because I think it's going to be an interesting and funny read. I think I have already read The miser, but if I have time I ill re-read it because I don't remember it.
I Feel Bad about My Neck: And Other Thoughts on Being a Woman by
Nora Ephron. I think this one is a compilation of essays and it's another book that it's supposed to be funny, but I am not sure.
Finally, La sangre de los libros (The blood of the books) by Santiago Posteguillo. I have already started this book and I really like it. It's about literature and it's very well-written. I have already read another book by him (La noche en que Frankestein leyó el Quijote (The night Frankestein read the QUixote) and I really liked it. This one is about author such as Poe and Charlotte Bronte and the things that happen to them. really interesting.
So these are the books I want to read. Let me know if you have read any of these books and your thoughts about them.
Ah! And don't forget to share with me your TBR.
Happy reading :)
